"Unwind & Create" A Stress-management and Relaxation Workshop
I created this workshop in response to a request from an organisation "Water Solutions" in Newry, who invited me to deliver a half-day session for their team as part of Stress Awareness Month in April. The workshop comprised of team-building activities using action methods to foster connection and engagement. The group had space for personal reflection, and the session a selection of relaxation taster techniques and a curated list of resources for further exploration.

I also offer the following bespoke workshops

Working as a clinical manager for 14 years with up to 30 team members, has given me extensive experience in team building, group dynamics, conflict resolution, as well as stress management and workplace wellness. I am particularly excited to share our services for organisational development and support:

2. Clinical Supervision:
My approach in clinical supervision is based on psychodynamic and integrative principles, with a strong commitment to the creative process and the use of action methods, sandtray, symbolism and art in one to one, team and group supervision. By integrating these techniques, I offer enhanced and transformational learning and aim to support developing therapists as well as established practitioners.

There are four principles of supervision that I adhere to. These are accountability, transformational learning, a good supervisory relationship and reviews:
• Accountability ensures that ethical standards are maintained throughout the work; clarifies the relationship between the various stake-holders involved, i.e.: worker, client, supervisor, organisation, the public, statutory services and professional bodies.
• Transformational learning as opposed to transmissive learning, ie: strives for a change of mind-set or behaviour rather than simply being a transfer of ideas and knowledge alone.
• A good supervisory relationship, which includes challenge and support is the responsibility of both, supervisee and supervisor
• Reviews, six monthly or, at least yearly, allow reflection on any changing needs.
Records
Records contain dates of sessions, brief notes on aspects of the work, any other information relevant to the supervisees work. These records are confidential and may only be accessed in exceptional circumstances, e.g.: in the event of a complaint of professional misconduct being made against the supervisee.
My practice is grounded in:
Inskipp & Proctor's (1993) model, which describes supervision as having three core functions:
1. Normative – Ensuring Safe and Ethical Practice
2. Formative – Fostering Professional Growth
3. Restorative – Attending to Practitioner Wellbeing
7 Eyed Supervision model
